Follow-up Reminder
Watches deal activity dates and nudges the owner before an opportunity goes cold.
This flow is being documented
Architecture and use case are already public. Build instructions and screenshots follow as the flow is finalised.
Use case
Deals stall quietly. A cadence check on last-activity dates turns 'I meant to call them' into a scheduled prompt.
Who uses it
Account executives and their managers.
Real scenario
Three opportunities have had no activity for ten days. Each owner receives a morning card listing them, with a snooze and a 'logged a call' action.
Time saved
Before
Deals forgotten between pipeline reviews
After
A daily nudge on the exact records at risk
Time saved
Recovered pipeline, plus ~20 min of manual review per day
How it works
A daily recurrence reads the opportunity list, filters on last-activity older than the configured cadence, groups the results by owner and sends each one an actionable card.
Step-by-step build
- 1
Store the cadence threshold per deal stage in a configuration list.
- 2
Daily recurrence with a weekend guard.
- 3
Get opportunities where LastActivityDate is older than the stage cadence.
- 4
Group by owner and send one card per owner listing the records.
- 5
Log every nudge so managers can see reminder history in the pipeline review.
Copilot prompt
Paste this into Power Automate Copilot to scaffold the flow.
Create a scheduled daily flow with a weekend guard that reads a SharePoint opportunities list, filters records whose last activity date is older than the cadence configured for their stage, groups them by owner and sends each owner an adaptive card listing the at-risk deals, logging each reminder for the pipeline review.
